While looking for reference images of lizards, I find this. If I came across this in the Outback, I’d realise I was pretty much fucked.
That’s sniper pet
One of his pets, anyway. I could definitely see him keeping whatever animal decided to follow him around. Like any story where two characters fight, and that makes them into best friends, that’s Sniper, wandering the outback and wrestling animals until they become loyal companions.
Gives ‘em all names, talks to them, in a laid-back-but-affectionate way. You know that annoyed sound you make when your dog steals food off the table? That’s the sound Sniper makes at crocodiles.
Probably likes reptiles the best. He gets along with them because they both like lying motionless in the sun for half the day, and then killing things.
